Practice Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Mary Sue McGovern graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977 and started McGovern Animal Clinic in 1980. She lives in Magnolia with her daughter Reilly, and many pets which include 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 parrots. In her spare time Dr. McGovern enjoys cycling, reading, films, and coffee. Dr. Lang graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She joined the McGovern Animal Clinic family right after graduation in June 2005. Dr. Lang lives in Navasota with her husband, Michael, her cat, Scherzo and their dog Kiera. In her spare time she enjoys playing beach volleyball and spending time with her husband and pets.

Office Manager

Marie has been a part of the McGovern Animal Clinic since August of 1998. Marie moved from Coventry England in 1991 with her husband Gavin, & 3 children. Liam, the oldest, is serving in the US Navy as a corpsman based with the US Marines out of California. Kellie is going to school to be a kindergarten teacher, & Toni is going to become a veterinarian one day. Since moving to the States, Marie added a 4th child, Bradley, who has hopes of one day playing for the Houston Astros. She has 1 dog named Rusty and 2 cats named Louie & Rambo. She enjoys watching baseball and spending time with friends & family, especially her grandson, Caden.
